Pescheria Di San Pietro: fresh fish and pasta

Everyone's going to Pescheria San Pietro… but not to buy a trout like its name — meaning fish shop in Italian — might suggest, but to have a nice meal of fresh pasta and great seafood. This new seafood restaurant opened about six months ago in Via Alamanni. Here fresh pasta is king on the menu. And, indeed, the monkfish ravioli and asparagus were exceptional. Mid-August festivities in Florence

Fantoni International School of Ceramic Art

At the International School of Ceramic Art, you'll find some people just learning to shape clay into all kinds of forms and others completing their art studies. There's a couple who comes here to make things to decorate their own home with original works. There's a group of retired women who chose to spend their free time doing something different than the usual sewing course.
