Pitti Uomo 87

Florence's big winter fashion event is back, the most important menswear trade show in town. It's Pitti Immagine Uomo. . Taverna del Bronzino

Florence has more than its fair share of historic restaurants and La Taverna del Bronzino is a glorious example of one such establishment. The plaque above the entrance tells us that the restaurant is in the building that once belonged to Santi di Tito, a student of the artist Bronzino (Consul of Florence's Academy of the Arts of Drawing). We were immediately impressed by the helpfulness of the staff, especially Umberto, the owner, who showed us to our table. We had a drink to get started
