Lunching with the chef

Having accepted the invitation we received from the Lorenzo de' Medici (LdM) cooking school in Florence, at 1:00 pm on a Friday, I headed to the upper floor of the Mercato Centrale to take part in its “A pranzo con lo Chef” [Lunch with the chef] class.

Taste 2015: Recap

The Taste fair, in its tenth year, has comes to a close once again. For three days (March 7 to 9), Stazione Leopolda was bustling with 320 exhibitors from around the world. This year was once again a booming success and well attended. A spectacular installation greeted visitors at Stazione Leopolda's entrance, designed by Vetreria Etrusca (which also did the interiors), featuring 1,000 glass bottles lighting the fair's many stands. Taste: the good eating and Italian lifestyle fair

Running from March 7 to 9, 2015 at Florence's Stazione Leopolda and the Alcatraz area, with a special installation by architect Alessandro Morade, this special edition of Taste celebrates its 10th anniversary.
